I uploaded a few bits and then I wanted to add a watermark so I had to delete them and start again i'm going to have to do it tomorrow when I have more time..Ow
I wanted to ask actually, the pics that i'm uploading are about 1MB, what's the recommended size? its taking me aaaaaages!
well 1MB isn't that big, i often load up 8MB biles to dA, but that's only to sell as prints. If i am to do it for display only, i normally make it at a res about 600x600 or 800x800, something around those dimensions will make it display nicely and wont be that big to upload, probably like 500KB.
dA lets you add their own watermark to dA too, but if you want to make your own then that's is cool.

I think I know why it was taking me so long yesterday... I was uploading my PSDs which are 1G instead of my flattened 1MB files!!! Whoops! ah well... I figured it out in the end

I just use photo shop and scan in different textures and photos. I don't think there is a name for the style.
